General educations courses are all part of Longwood’s Civitae program. Each of the four stages of Civitae (Foundations, Pillars, Perspectives, and Symposium) serve to develop 21st-century skills with an emphasis on citizenship. A lot of my AP and Dual Enrollment classes in high school have transferred over so that I could get credit for some of the required general education classes.
