Sophomore Year: My freshman year at Longwood was consisted of me being a hermit. I was focused on surviving my first year of college before I branched out and did more. This year I chose to be a part of the Movers and Shakers program that helps the Freshman class move in each year. It was very rewarding to set up the next class of Longwood for their beginnings of college life. All the questions and support from the parents were uplifting and is something I will take with me for my time at Longwood. I definitely will not hesitate when the next opportunity comes.

Junior Year: As an element of my organization, I had volunteered to pick up international students from the airport and be a mentor to help them adjust to Longwood. It has been an eye-opening experience to learn from them and be an influencing factor in their time at Longwood. You never know your impact until you see it.
