Coming to Longwood has really allowed me to flourish. This year I became employed with Lancer Line which is in the Office for Institutional Advancement. This was the first time I had ever had a job. To say this was a milestone would be an understatement. In a way, I was giving back to Longwood. Calling alumni to see if they would give back to the school gave me a sense of pride. Every time someone would give back would bring me joy knowing those dollars were coming back to the students and faculty here.
