Both the bad news letter and persuasive letter really opened my eyes to the steps of professional writing. I never knew the correct way to format these types of letters nor what was supposed to go in them if I ever needed to write one. While it was a daunting task at first to write successful letters, after taking notes in class and reading the textbook-provided examples it was able to ease my nerves and I was able to successfully complete these assignments. Not only was I successful in this, but I also enjoyed writing them and know they will aid me in the future if I ever need to write one of these letters.
