This assignment and course overall have helped to better prepare me to be a leader within my field of practice within the macro and micro settings of social work. In addition to helping me recognizes the aspects of follwership I embody as well. specifically, this assignment has allowed me to recognize my roles as a leader and follower through the recognition or review of my journals and with summarizing my past, present, and future leadership opportunities. This course will help me achieve my personal and professional mission statements because I have learned about how I present as a leader and any biases or weaknesses in leadership I may have. This awareness will allow me to improve my skills and actively work towards my goals. In closing I will take with me the knowledge and skills I have learned from this course and embedded them into my every day work with clients as a practitioner.
