Reflection
The common good project allowed me to advocate for a community issue that I am passionate about. My team and I choose to create a website on suicide awareness. I wanted to educate my peers on campus about the reality of suicide and to decrease the stigma that it portrays. My team created a page of the top four myths regarding suicide and interviewed students around campus that have suffered from depression and suicidal thoughts. Lastly, we added a page that discussed the research regarding suicide. We presented the website to our class and made changes to the website that our peers recommended before submitting the final. This project was the first time I have experienced making a website.
