As a soon to be social work practitioner, my goal is to be committed to fighting for social justice, and to serve and empower individuals, families, and communities. My mission, in the social work profession, is to enhance human’s well-being and to meet the basic human needs of all people, especially with those who are vulnerable, oppressed, and living in poverty. Another mission is to promote a system of having best practice in partnership with the community, committed to prevention and early intervention, ensuring safety to all populations in need. The professional principles that I will hold myself accountable to are providing service, fighting for social justice, respecting the dignity and worth of a person, recognizing the importance of human relationships, behaving in an integrity manner, and continue to practice competency.
