Hello there, welcome to my personal profile. I am 24 years old and from Chesterfield, Virginia and currently live in Farmville, Virginia, as I am preparing to graduate from Longwood University in May 2023. I grew up as the oldest of three children and in Chesterfield throughout my whole life.

I have always been attracted to wanting to work in a field with human services. I initially started out wanting to become an elementary school teacher with the goal to be teaching in special education classrooms. However, when looking at what I truly am interested in doing, I became more drawn to the idea of becoming a social worker. When looking at my strengths and weaknesses, I noticed that I like to work with people and am flabbergasted with learning about human behavior along with social problems. Due to my fascination with social problems, whether that is micro or macro level, I decided to declare my minor in sociology to expand further into my knowledge. When I learn about social problems, social justice struck out as an interest to me. When learning about social justice, I have also been taught that social justice is one of the core values in social work.

When I have free time, I enjoy traveling, going to sports games, bonfires and riding four wheelers with friends, cooking, and spending time with my friends.
