I am writing to you today to express my interest in an open position within your school system. The position I am interested in is the Dinwiddie Middle School 7th grade Science Teacher. I saw this job opening on your schoolboard’s website and thought it would be a great fit.
Currently I am working towards getting my bachelor’s degree of science in Biology at Longwood University. I will be graduating in the spring of 2019 and applying for this position within the next few months for the beginning of the 2019 – 2020 school year.
For the past three years, I have been a substitute teacher in your school system. I have substituted for all ages from kindergarten to twelfth grade, but the grade I resonated most with were the middle schools sixth through eighth grade.
