United Airlines Mock PR Campaign- During my second year of college I took a PR class where we were divided into groups and created a PR campaign from beginning to end for a company that was facing a real issue. My group and I were assigned United Airlines, who at the time was facing the scandal where someone was forcefully removed from their flight. From this assignment I gathered a stronger understanding of PR and business ethics. By creating innovative approaches to the problem, I feel that this assignment prepped me for the real world of PR. Event Planning Intern, Game Day events-  During the spring of my sophomore year I took an internship with a local event planning company. This company specialized in day of coordinating as well as the creation of written material for weddings such as timelines. During my internship I worked 15 weddings in 12 weeks. Some of my main tasks were to coordinate with the vendors to organize and assign duties such as when to arrive and set up, I created a timeline for weddings and guided families through the ceremony practice during rehearsal. 

Podcast- This was one of my favorite assignments! For my economics class we had to create a weekly podcast that had to do with some kind of economic concept. I have never created a podcast, nor edited audio before. There was many learning curves but I ended up being really happy with what I created.
