The course ENGL 400 has been one that offered opportunities for my writing to grow and improve. I have been writing professionally since the end of high school as a journalist, but the approaches utilized in ENGL 400 are much different than I had done previously. The opportunity to grow my writing and practice writing with a different method is one I truly appreciate.

Through the Rhetorical Analysis and Common Good Project specifically, the writing had to be done for a specific audience for a specific purpose, even more so than previous writings I had done. Both pieces serve as informative pieces catering to audiences in need, something that as a citizen leader and upcoming teacher, I have to be prepared to continue doing in the future.
