Reflection

In this course, I have learned many skills regarding data collection and data analysis. I learned how to obtain a good generalizable sample and how to create a well-thought survey that suites the population of interest. Data analysis skills learned include the following: ANOVA, T-test, Pearson’s Correlation, and z-scoring. I have also learned how to create a product that informs others of my findings regarding the data analysis. Developing this skill set is very beneficial and matters greatly.

Learning these skills is very important in a larger context. Being able to create a well-thought tool for data collection, analyze data in various ways, and creating a product that informs everyone grants me a great opportunity. This great opportunity is opened for me with the ability to compose well constructed research articles. This skill set can be used to inform the people of this world on any given topic of interest.

With these skills, I plan on using them in the future. This new set of statistical analysis skills has opened up many opportunities for the future. I can put these skills to work in almost any career path. Being able to provide a thorough statistical analysis, for any given company, would be beneficial. I can use these skills to better the understanding about any population of interest. Having this done will benefit many people and can be used to help change the world into a better place.
