Pearson’s Correlation

A Pearson’s correlation was computed to assess the linear relationship between Enjoyment and Encouragement. The independent variable for this assessment is Enjoyment. This variable asked, “How much did your family enjoy this activity?”, with 0 to 10 being the scale to provide an answer. The dependent variable for this assessment is Encouragement. This variable asked, “Did the Astronaut Pudding Activity encourage your family to spend time together?”, with 0 to 10 being the scale to provide an answer. There is a strong positive correlation between the two variables, r = .69.
