My research question is asking, what are students attitudes towards new policies put in place by Longwood University due to covid-19? The dependent variable is the students attitudes and will be operationalized into a ranking of 1-10 on how much individuals agree with the Longwood face mask and guest policies. The independent variable is the new policies put in place by Longwood and is asked about in the questions regarding the face mask and guest policies, as well as individual’s feelings of safety on campus. These questions are well written questions because it all questions clearly tell the individual the instructions on how to answer as well as defines the policies in case the survey taker is not aware of what these policies are. The questions have answers on a scale which allows for the individual to pick a middle option is they do not have a stance on the question.
