For this class, English 470, we had to make a short Ted Talk style presentation on a topic that relates to our different areas of study in school. For the assignment, I decided to play off of my English 384 Focus Project idea. I made a short presentation that sums up my whole focus project. I added visuals and condensed all the information into a 5-minute presentation. In my English 384 class, this theme really stood out to me. When we first mentioned it, I knew I wanted to do more research and dig further into it. What I found was very eye opening. Each of the visuals I chose to include in my presentation help to prove how diverse children’s literature is.
