For this page, I wanted to demonstrate my professional writing ability by showing off a project that I worked on all semester for my English 384 – Diversity in Literature for Young Readers – class. For this project, we had to pick a theme that goes along with diversity, and find information that shows how that theme is exhibited in Children’s Literature. The theme I chose to research was how Indigenous People are represented in children’s books, young adult stories, and in modern media.
