Hello, my name is Hayley Deemer. I am an undergraduate student majoring in English with a concentration in Literature. In my blog, I will be discussing Digital Writing and the power of choice as a consumer!

For my ePortfolio theme, I was inspired by a video I watched on YouTube a few months ago about the “illusion of choice” and psychological biases that control consumer spending habits. We have a sort of power in the choices we make and the companies we chose to support. This is especially important to consider now, in a society where we are constantly fighting with large corporations to be able to afford life necessities.

My recent increased interest in marketing and journalism has helped me develop a greater understanding of some of the issues discussed in my blog. I hope that you enjoy what I have created, I truly believe there is something for everyone!
