FINA 250 Personal Finance (Fall 2018)

I had a hate and love relationship with this class. I found it very informative but I also knew a lot about it so at times I was bored. I took a personal finance class my junior year of high school so taking something similar in college was repetitive. However, I did learn a lot about the importance of saving. I did not even consider that we should start putting money away so early for retirement. After taking this class, I one hundred percent think all college students should take a finance class because you learn so much regarding saving, interest, and retirement.

Our final project in this class was to create a budget based onĀ our future careers. We had to research things such as where we would live, how much money to set aside for bills, money for food, how much we would make, etc. We then had to write a paper describing all of this, and we had to make a presentation to give to the class. My paper is below.
