In English 470, I was able to learn a great amount of information that will prepare me for my professional matters when I graduate. I am planning to be a Special Education teacher so it is very important that I understand the correct ways of writing and teaching writing. I have learned in this class how to create an appropriate resume and cover letter that will come to great use when I am applying for a job. This class has taught me how to write professionally using ethos, logos, and pathos correctly to make my wording more appropriate. I will be able to transfer my learning skills into the real world setting and my professional setting as well. This class has taught me oral communication skills and how to present the content effectively. This will allow me to be very successful as a teacher when I am teaching my students. I have been able to become more confident in my oral communication because of English 470.
