Zoom is a video conferencing tool that allows groups of people to collaborate and share ideas in real time, without being in the same location. Zoom is an easy, reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, collaboration, chat, and webinars across mobile devices, desktops, and telephones. Whether you want to recreate an activity from an in-class session or hold virtual office hours, Zoom is a way for teachers and learners to get together in a digital space to continue the learning process in real time.
For a Zoom account please send a request to DEC@longwood.edu. You will be granted a licensed account that will allow you to host more than 3 people for over 40 minutes, unlike the free version.
