The two identities that I resonate with the most is my ethnicity and age. When it comes to my ethnicity it relates back to my culture, which has taught me about unity and how important it is to give back to the community. This would relate back to how I would want my future to be, I would like to continue to share the ability to be determined and the importance of family. My age has always either limited or freed me from different situations, which is why age has shaped different aspects of my life. I would still apply it to my future because it would continue to form chapters of my life how they are suppose to. For example, my generation has been known to speak their minds and advocate for those who don’t have a voice.
When it comes to my ethnicity it relates back to how much I care about people, and that community is important when it comes to connecting with people. When you have people behind you it brings up me self esteem in a way that would make me share the same amount of care to others. As well as my age, every year would define each moment of my life. For example, if you are under the age of 21 there will be things that would limit you from doing things. Like may not be old enough to get a house or go to a casino. This would also remind me of the generation I am in and how different we are from older generations. For example, seeing people my age stand up for what they think is right, it is a model for my experiences.
The amount of care that was shown to me by the people around me has always taught me to share it with others. This is why I would like to be an Anesthesiologist assistant, while they do put people to sleep they are make sure their patients are clam during the process.
