The table above shows the regression relation between the independent and dependent variable. The two variables used in this report are two interval ratio variables, ranked from 0-10(0 being not at all and 10 being very). The first variable asks the respondent “How satisfied are you with your overall college experience this semester?”. The second variable asks the respondents “How much do you think involvement on campus has been affected?”. The table shows a coefficient of -.17, which means for everyone unit increase in involvement on campus there is a .17 unit decrease in student satisfaction. The finding of -.17 is significant at the .001 level. This model explains 4% of the variation in student satisfaction.
