I am currently a senior at Longwood University pursuing my degree in Social Work. I was referred to your agency by my field instructor. I have worked with a non-profit domestic violence agency where I have worked with a wide range of diverse clients inside and outside of the office. I also have worked at an agency where I worked with families and children who have developmental and/or cognitive delays. I believe I would be a great asset to your agency. My social work internships and volunteering have given me an extensive variety of skills that would help aid clients. I am also able to create professional relationships with clients and colleagues. During my internship I was able to complete assessments, file papers, create excel sheets, talk to clients in distress, advocate for clients in court, fundraise and hold tabling events, and present presentations along with research. I hold myself to extremely high standards and dedicate myself to working hard and helping others. I am confident that my experience and skills will make me a valuable member of your agency.
