During my time in High School, I always believed that I was a strong writer and knew how to write. This class really opened up my eyes. My Professor showed us how to write in accordance to the field that we wanted to pursue. The entire semester I wrote in APA format. I learned how to delete the fluff in my writing and focus more on the facts. My writing turned into a straight-forward and concise piece of work. The smaller class size, provided by taking an honors course, helped my Professor provide adequate time and help to each individual student and we were able to focus more on specific topics.
