Hello! My name is Rachel Allen and I am a student of the Therapeutic Recreation Program at Longwood University. I am from Chesterfield Virginia and previously attended Manchester High School. Previously I was a camp teacher at Little scholars and worked with children with disabilities. I enjoy Therapeutic Recreation because of the numerous opportunities it gives me to help people in need. My area of interest is working with older adults in mental health settings. I love Therapeutic Recreation because I enjoy helping people balance life and leisure to help ensure they have a better quality of life.
