I believe the information learned in the professional writing course will benefit me while in graduate school and eventually in my professional career. If I choose to work in a school system, I will have to write Individualized Education Plan reports. My practice writing formal reports in this course will benefit me. The work done in class on résumé and cover letter writing will be used when I apply to jobs post graduation. After taking this course I feel more confident in my writing abilities. When editing my written work, I will now use the Eight C’s as a guide. Overall, this course will benefit me as I finish my undergraduate degree, pursue a graduate degree, and enter the workforce.
