Quantitative of Scientific Perspectives

ISCI 361 // Summer 2021

I took this class in the summer because I needed to get this perspective out of the way. However, I don’t think that was the best decision for me. I had work for this class everyday, which consisted of 3 hours lectures videos, 5 or more chapters of reading from the textbook, and then having to take a quiz on that material. This class expected a lot out of me and it was not enjoyable. For a class that was expected to take 5 weeks, the professor had made it into three weeks. Alongside of being in this class, I was also working full time and doing an online internship. The quizzes in this class were very difficult based on the fact that we had to know the minor details of the reading and lectures.

Although I did learn a lot of new things, there was a lot more to do and to learn that expected. Below is my general audience paper. I had to find a scientific article on a species and write about their population declines and how they are studied.
