My name is Whitney Sligh
Welcome to my eportfolio where you can learn some interesting things about myself. I am currently a student at Longwood University, majoring in Social Work. I love helping the community by doing volunteer work at different places. My reasoning for wanting to become a social worker is the passion that I have for children and caring for others wellbeing.
I view myself as a charismatic, idealistic, and outspoken person who strives for greatness. My mission in life is to never lose insight on what is important in the world. I want to be able to live a life that is full of honesty, unconditional love, and make the world a better place through my work and my relationship with others.
My mission as a social worker is to effectively provide children a safe place for them, enhancechildren’s well-being in their homes, and help people overall in the community.
