This course explored differing responses to the tough question: How can a person believe in an all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-good God, when there is such instances of evil everywhere? Through analyzing the works of famous writers, theist and atheist alike, we were able to form our own views and discuss them in a controlled environment where we could look at the strongest arguments and connect them to our own experiences.
Linked in the title above is a paper I wrote at the end of the term about what I think is the strongest argument, and related it to an environmental (my major) topic of concern in order to give real-world evidence/examples. This paper really served to broaden my understanding of the problem when looking at it from the standpoint of something important to me. Also, we had to use ~actual~ hardcopy books from the library which showed me a useful tool that often gets overlooked in this day and age though books sometimes have the best information.
