Kins 215

Kins 215, exercise in medicine, I took as a pillar requirement course for the human behavior and social institutions section. I have played sports all my life and now in college, so exercise is something I clearly have a passion for and enjoy. During this class DR. Purdom was able to further my knowledge of exercise by taking a deeper route into the science of exercise and how it can positively affect your body. I still use principles of exercise and dietary habits that we studied in this class and have been able to offer the ideas and concepts I learned and give the to other people to put into action in their own lives. During this class we had hands on experience of types of exercise trying which helped solidify why those habits were important. We also wrote a midterm research paper on everything we had learned thus far and then concluded the class building off that paper to offer a complete cumulative research paper of everything we had learned during the class. I really enjoyed this class and would push others to take it for one of their pillar requirements.
