Community is intentional. Here at Longwood University and within the Cormier Honors college intentionality is the most important trait in building our relationships and friendships that make up our community. People are intentional in being quick to offer helping hand, an open conversation, and an embracing spirit. This type of intentionality in our community has allowed me to meet some of my best friends, meet all types of people from different backgrounds, and overall enhance my social awareness. We have a tremendous community here because the people are intentional and I can’t wait to see how my community around me grows in the next three years.
