Service is truly one of the key components to not only the Cormier Honors college but Longwood’s culture as a whole too. The idea of service and the action to serve is behind every organization, every secret society, every greek life, and every sports team. I had the opportunity to serve FACES, help people move into local homes, spend the day at an assisted living center, and participate in SAAC fundraisers. Giving and serving others is a calling that all humans desire. The way Longwood has given to me has enabled in me a humble heart and a passion to give back, and that is what life is all about.
