About me:
Hey everyone! My name is Sirena Walsh and I am currently studying to get my Business Administration degree with a concentration in management and a minor in Economics. I am a junior here at Longwood University and I have one more year left to complete my degree! My father has always been a business man and so I’ve learned about it at a young age, which is why I’ve found interest in how our world works economically. I also play golf for the Longwood women’s golf team and so I want to hopefully encourage young kids and teenagers to learn and play the sport! I love helping others and spreading my knowledge to others in hopes that I learn something in return. Helping others is something I’ve grown up knowing and loving that I do now and hope to do so in the future. I plan to do this, by influencing changes in certain business ethics and laws and hopefully influence businesses to make better decisions for the greater good!
Introduction to this ePortfolio:
The purpose of my ePortfolio is to reflect on what I’ve learned from my English 400 class. I was fortunate to have Dr. Guler who was passionate about sharing her knowledge of the topics we discussed throughout the semester. The course assignments that I’ve completed has taught me a lot about how to be more active as an individual and make a difference in our world through active citizenship writing. Written communication is even more essential in today’s society because the world we live in, we have immediate communication even across the world with technology. Written communication is a skill that I’ve been able to acquire and grow in, and I hope to show exactly what I’ve learned through the work I’ve completed.
