I took this course Spring of 2017.

This course offered me an invite to how teaching and interacting with young students will be. This was the first education class I have taken at Longwood and I can easily say I was not disappointed. Much of the class was discussion based and be explored many topic revolving around Child Development. The professor, Dr. Cosby, encouraged the class to contribute to our in class discussions as well as gave us many tools to use in our own future classrooms.

My favorite project we did was our Three Ages Project. We started by interviewing three different individuals in each of the age groups and then discussed and how their responses correlated to the developmental stages we learned in class. Below is an attached copy of my final paper.
