I took this class the fall semester of my Sophomore year.

It was the final foreign language requirement and I had a different professor then I took for SPAN 102. Dr. Barlow pushed me a lot more than my previous professor did. We had more in class interactions and her tests required more studying on my part. I ended with a pretty good grade in this class and I definitely learned more than I did in 102.

Unfortunately, We did not have many assignments that we turned in on canvas and I no longer have any of the notes I took in class. One assignment that stuck with me was the oral exam. Dr. Barlow gave us a couple prompts to practice from and I prepared a 3 minute conversation with a partner. We then presented our memorized conversation in front of Dr. Barlow with a minimal amount of prompting from a notecard.
