I took this class fall of 2016.

I was placed in this class to cover both my goal 5 requirement and one of my math major requirements. The professor of this class, Dr. Honore Mavinga, made this class very difficult. English was his third language, so teaching and helping the students understand the material he was trying to teach was not easy.

The difficulty of understanding the concepts in this class helped me practice my self teaching skills as well as helping other understand. I ended with a good grade in this class which was a huge accomplishment for me. Indirectly, this class helped me realize how excited I am to become a teacher in the future.

Unfortunately, after I finished the class I was so grateful to be finished that I threw away all my papers and notes for the class. Below is an attached copy of note I took in my next math class, taken in a very similar style to the previous semester.
