Physical Education (PHED 101)

PHED 101

For General Education Goal 11 almost all students have to take PHED 101. This was an easy class that was very hard to get through for an inactive person like myself. I have never been very capable at anything athletic, and going into this class, I thought I would majorly crash and burn. However, it was nowhere near as much of a nightmare as  I thought it would be. In order to get a perfect A, all I had to do was walk 70,000 steps a day and complete the weekly work. The one thing I can say this class helped me build was a sense of dedication and perseverance, which I gained working hard to get the steps required and participating in the in-person labs.

The artifact that I have chosen for this class is the very first week of step recording that I did. I really put in the more effort for these two weeks than I did any of the others. My friend and I actively went to the gym every day, and we had a strong sense of dedication to the grade that we wanted to get. I really am proud of how hard I worked this week, and I am proud to say that I got a 100 for this assignment.
