Goal 10 German 202
I took German 202 and in this class I learned that I should never get to arrogant about my abilities. I am a German minor and I was taking German 402 at the same time I was taking 202; therefore, I considered German 202 to be a fairly easy course. For the majority of the semester I did fairly well without working too terribly hard, but I was overconfident when we took our last test. Since I was doing so well in the course, I did not do much studying at all for our second and last test. When it came time to take the test, I immediately noticed that I did not recognize any of the grammar on this test. I tried my best, but I ended up not doing as well as I had hoped. At first I was upset with the teacher for the way that he had formatted the test, but after farther reflection, it was myself that I was disappointed in. I should have studied harder and I should not have been so cocky in my abilities. I learned that even if something comes very easily to you, you still need to study and work hard. One of the other assignments for the class was a script that we wrote with two other peers. Attached are the lines that I wrote for my character, Tim.
