Honors LSEM
LSEM as a course served as a wonderful introduction to Longwood University, but I was most impacted by the BINGO card that my peer mentor had us all fill out. The card counted as a large portion of our final grade and in order to receive full credit we had to participate in different activities on campus. If I did not have to fill out the BINGO card I never would have gone to a chi walk, attended Dr. Jordan’s ghost stories, or worked on a booth for Oktoberfest. It was through working on the Oktoberfest booth that I made countless new friends in the honors program and I learned how many nice and friendly people attended Longwood. LSEM helped me realize that the more involved I become, the more friends I will meet along the way.
