Community
There are many communities that I associate myself with. I am a part of the community of Chesapeake Virginia because that is where I was born and raised. Since Longwood University will be my home for a four year period of time I consider my self a part of the Longwood community. As a member of Alpha Phi Omega I consider my brothers on this campus and on other campuses members of my community as well. Someone can be a part of countless communities throughout their lives. By involving oneself in varies communities one can gain an appreciation for different people and learn how to treat and interact with these individuals. I try to immerse myself in various communities in order to have this appreciation.
