While taking this class in spring of 2019 I was able to absorb a plethora of information about biology on a much smaller scale than I had previously been exposed to. This course focused heavily on understanding the inner-workings of biological processes that are usually nondeductible to the naked eye. It gave explanations of the function of many of the processes that occur in organisms and explained why these processes are important to the continuation of life.
The article below is a research paper from a project about the eukaryotic organism yeast. Our class did this to observe various biological properties o this organism and was an interesting way to incorporate information from class into an experiment. Overall this class showed me how to examine biological processes from a beginners perspective.
