I took this class in fall of 2018 and it helped prepare for the coursework of higher level biology courses by providing a strong foundation for higher level biology. This class immersed me in the fundamentals concepts of biology and gave me tools to be successful in future classes. A large part of this class was learning how to adjust to the way scientific coursework is handled in a college setting versus how it was handled in a high school setting.

The following document is an example of how I had to learn to do collegiate scientific work. It is an introduction, which is one piece of a scientific paper that I had to learn to write in separated parts. This class heavily focused on learning how to write all of these separate parts, while keeping relevant information flowing throughout the paper as a whole.
