Here at Longwood there is an underlying sense of togetherness and unity incorporated into the core of this university.  Everyone here seems to care about everyone else as an individual and we all work to help each other achieve success in our collegiate experience. I have even had occurrences where a stranger went out of their way to make sure I was doing well after I came down with an illness. It is this kind of unity that makes this university flourish and continue to yield excellent students. Even in smaller communities such as the Comier Honors College these qualities still shine through in the students here.
