Letter to senior self

Dear senior Jevaun,

I know you have worked hard throughout your years at Longwood and have prepared yourself for entering the field of wildlife research. Make sure to look back on both the achievements which showed you what you were capable of and the mistakes which exposed areas within your life you could improve. Most importantly always remember to keep your mindset positive, and never let seemingly a negative situation dictate how you go about achieving your goals.

Remember to be grateful for all experiences you have been fortunate enough to be able participate in and be thankful to all the people who helped you get to where you are now. Whether it be the organizations you take part in or the classes that you took I know you have taken everything you can from your experiences here at Longwood and used them to better yourself. Everything you are working towards now is attainable because you know how to work both hardly and intelligently for the things you want to accomplish. Finally remember even in the roughest of times, don’t abandoned the integrity that keeps you striving for want you want to accomplish with your life.

Sincerely
Freshman Jevaun
