I hypothesized that families who enjoyed our activities sent home, would discuss their emotions more between parent and child. In other words, more enjoyment of the activity would lead to more open discussions about emotions.
Children’s rank of enjoyment during the activity increased by 0.0255 units for every one unit increase in discussing their emotions with their parent. However, this finding is not significant as the p value is (0.325). The R-squared statistic is 0.02549, which means that this model explains 0.5% of the variation in the dependent variable(enjoyment in activities). No significant relationship can be found between enjoyment in activities and increases in discussing emotions.
