Hi everyone!

Welcome to my blog A look inside the life of Mare T! My name is Marin Tettelbach but my friends and family call me Mare T! This blog is just a quick glimpse of what I’m all about! Here are a few things about me!

I am an April Fool’s Day baby born in the sunny side of Monterey, California! I lived there for 2 weeks, then my family moved across country to the beautiful state of Virginia, where we have lived for the past 21 years!

My father was in the Navy for 30 years, so my siblings and I grew up with the absence of our family for a majority of our childhood. We have experienced many deployments in which we have experienced holidays, birthdays, and graduations. The military is very important to myself and my family!

A few other little things!

I have 3 siblings, two sisters and a brother they are all older than me and out in the world kicking booty!

My parents are the light of my life and don’t know where I would be without them!

I LOVE Longwood and everything it stands for, this University has made me the person I am today! I am grateful for the experiences and opportunities it has given me.

I am in my sorority Alpha Delta Pi, and the Panhellenic President for the College Panhellenic Council!

I am obsessed with Relay For Life, and have serious thoughts about changing my middle name to Relay!! My parents however, do not approve!! I have had the opportunity to be apart of the Relay For Life Executive Board for the past 3 years, ending my last year on the board as the Chair!

A few silly things; the Jim Carey Grinch is by far my favorite movie, and I say quotes out loud all year around! My love for coffee is stronger just like my love for christmas cookie candles. I have a huge sweet tooth (thanks to my mom!) I can eat brownies for breakfast any day of the week! My favorite place to be if not in Farmville, is Smith Mountain Lake! The most relaxing place to read and float is this beautiful lake surrounded by mountains!

I love all the people in my life and I am so grateful for what this life has given me!!
