For me, the honors community is a close knit group of people that have helped me through the first year. Without this group, I would have no idea what to do with my major since many people helped me figure it out along the way. The honors community means so much to me because it helped me find my friends and gave me a sense of belonging on campus. During the honors retreat, we went on trips and played a giant game of tag in the science building which really helped everyone get to know each other and feel at home in the honors community.
