Hello, my name is Makayla Stephens and welcome to my blog! I am a senior Sociology major at Longwood University. I was born in Petersburg, VA, however, I moved to Elizabeth City, NC in middle school. After high school, I decided to come back to Virginia to attend Longwood, which has been the best four years! After college, I plan on attending graduate school to obtain a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I am currently enrolled in a Social Research and Program Evaluation course lead by Dr. Pederson. Within this course, I was able to research and evaluate a program created to encourage parental involvement.
