Lancer For A Day

Lancer for a Day was an amazing opportunity where Longwood University hosted fourth graders for a day to show them what a day as a college student would be like. Many of the students really loved this trip, and left with a new view on the opportunities that college presented for them. This experience is a collaboration between the Prince Edward Elementary School and Longwood University, and it was an honor to be able to volunteer at this event.

Buddy Bowling

Buddy Bowling is a special bowling league for children with disabilities. This league is noon-competitive, and lets the children learn how to bowl while having fun and making friends in a great environment. This opportunity is amazing. I only recently started volunteering for this, but I am very excited for the possibilities.
