Math 165 – Precalculus

In the first semester of my time at Longwood University, I took the offered pre-calculus course in relation with my major requirements and came to fully enjoy the demonstrations presented to me. I took a fascination with the theory and concepts behind calculus and the furthering of mathematics which were well identified within the course by the professor. As well as conceptually demanding, the course came to become logically demanding as well between the course work and problems given to the students. Although it seemed difficult, I came to appreciate the rigor I was presented with and loved the method and style of teaching as well.

Within the paper presented, the students were asked to demonstrate their knowledge into real-life terms of mathematical concepts. I felt that this assignment was as necessary as it was valued.
